Next Wednesday, NTEU will present arguments in our lawsuit against the President's anti-employee executive orders. These orders limit NTEU’s ability to represent employees, make it easier to fire hard-working employees where a manager and employee have a personality conflict, and restrict collective bargaining at government agencies. This undermines decades of federal law that govern labor-management relations in the federal government.
NTEU is joining with other federal unions for a July 25 lunchtime rally—showing solidarity and support for federal employees across the nation. Join us, wear your NTEU 280 t-shirt, and demand that your rights be protected. Immediately after the rally, NTEU attorneys will be in court for oral arguments in our lawsuit challenging portions of the executive orders issued in May. The rally is next door to the federal courthouse where our case will be heard.
RSVP for the event here. Stay up-to-date on NTEU actions related to the May 25 executive orders here. You must be on your lunch break or have approved leave to attend this rally.
